Industrial concrete floors

High yield and durability over time

SistemPav Srl creates concrete floors that last over time, able to respond optimally to customer needs. The proposed solutions are many, all responding to the functional needs to which the product will have to respond.

The processing cycle, carried out by our team of experienced professionals in the sector, complies with all the technical standards that guarantee as a result a resistant and long-lasting flooring. The choice of the best materials on the market, the highly qualified staff, compliance with all safety standards, the use of cutting-edge machinery and technologies make SistemPav Srl a leader in concrete flooring capable of offering its customers, for each specific need, a qualified consultancy service (SOA Certification – UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 Certification) both in the design phase, to identify the best possible solution, and directly on site during construction, maintenance and recovery.

TECHNOLOGIES

SistemPav Srl further qualifies by introducing the very modern LASER SCREED into its operating systems, considered a true technological jewel in the field of industrial flooring. With the use of this machinery, we are able to create industrial concrete floors with large daily surfaces, reducing the formation of joints, with constant control of flatness, increase in mechanical strength thanks to the vibratory coating and therefore with considerable durability.

FLOORING SECTOR

  • Leveling of the stabilized substrate with grarder-laser;

  • Dust and pastina floors, ramps, draining and washed gravel floors;

  • Seamless floors with post-tensioning system guaranteed with a ten-year policy.

PROCESSING STEPS

Preparation of the substrate

The construction of a concrete floor cannot ignore the stability of the substrate to ensure that the concrete slab can respond correctly and adequately to the workloads. In relation to the ground and the possibility of rising water, appropriate insulation must be implemented (either a vapor barrier or a sliding layer). The state-of-the-art execution of the industrial flooring then requires that the substrate is well leveled and compacted. SistemPav Srl is able to carry out, by means of a grader-laser, the leveling of the substrate layer, guaranteeing a regular thickness of concrete (even in the presence of slopes, both longitudinal and transversal) in order to avoid differences in the shrinkage of the same, possible cause of cracks and cracks of various types in the flooring.

Pose

The classic manual laying of concrete can be alternated with LASER SCREED technology. The skills and experience acquired over the years, the constant search for the best solutions and the best materials ensure that SistemPav Srl is able to guarantee quality and highly competitive work, thanks also to the adequacy of technologies and instruments. used for the realization of the product. LASER SCREED represents a real revolution in industrial flooring, as it establishes new quality standards, essentially referring to the flatness, mechanical resistance and durability of the flooring. With the use of LASER SCREED, SistemPav srl is able to create industrial concrete floors with large daily surfaces, reducing the formation of joints. The result is quality, safe and long-lasting work.

Joints and sealing

The presence of joints is essential for the protection of the flooring itself. The joints are of different types:

  • Theinsulation joints, made before laying the concrete and with suitable compressible materials, are applied along the entire perimeter of the flooring to be executed and in correspondence with all elevated structures (walls, pillars, etc.).
  • The contraction joints are made on the flooring performed, with a special equipment equipped with a diamond disc, between 24 and 48 hours after casting.
  • The construction joints, on the other hand, are positioned in correspondence with the daily closures and are equipped with "fire bars" for casting joints.

  • The sealing of the joints can be performed with a PVC sheath or with a special polyurethane sealant with a high modulus of elasticity.

RANGE OF COLORS

Concrete floors have a wide range of possible colors. The colors shown are indicative (as they may also vary according to the particular composition of the concrete used). The humidity rates of the cement conglomerate determine the characteristic light-dark tonal spotted effect.

Armor

Designing an industrial flooring requires the identification of a solution capable of coping with any situation. In the case of concrete floors, the traditional solution coincides with the insertion of a metal reinforcement in the conglomerate. This reinforcement, consisting of electro-welded metal meshes, arranged on one or two orders, gives the conglomerate resistance and bending. The evolution of the reinforcement techniques, and in particular the use of a synthetic steel fiber reinforcement, allows to better face and solve the structural problems of industrial flooring: thanks to the ductility of the fiber reinforcement, in fact, the resistance of the flooring is greater and the risk of cracking decreases.

Asphalt

It is the most superficial layer of the pavement. An industrial flooring, with a correctly chosen and constructed surface wear layer, ensures functionality over time, with enormously reduced maintenance costs, thus protecting the initial investment, aiming at the quality of the service and complete customer satisfaction. The wear surface of a concrete floor can be created using two different application techniques:

  • With the sprinkling method. The "dusting" industrial floor consists in the surface incorporation of the concrete cast of a properly dosed mixture of quartz and cement to form a wear layer with a thickness of 1.5 ÷ 2mm, so that the smoothed surface resists abrasion.
  • With pasta method. The “pastina” industrial floor is made up of a suitably dosed mixture of sedimentation quartz and Portland cement to form a 7 ÷ 10mm thick wear layer to be applied “fresh on fresh” on a concrete cast.

Maturation

It is the last, delicate, step in processing. This is the time it takes for the concrete to reach the strength standards it will be subjected to and for which it was designed. The phase of concrete curing is therefore followed and controlled with extreme care, given the importance of the result of this process for the final quality of the screed. An adequate maturation phase serves above all to avoid micro-damage from hydraulic shrinkage, mainly in external areas or in the case of hot climates.

OTHER TYPES OF CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

RampS

This type of flooring is performed with the same characteristics as the “pastina” flooring, even in the case in which you are faced with flooring with steep slopes. The surface layer is engraved “fishbone” with the aim of increasing the friction of the vehicles in transit.

Printed floors

Sistempav s.r.l. creates stamped concrete floors, with the possibility to choose between multiple designs (stone effect, brick, etc.) and colors. The advantages of this type of flooring are above all those deriving from the presence of a protective resin that covers them and makes them resistant to atmospheric agents and oil stains, facilitating maintenance.

"Washed" floors

It is a flooring whose aesthetic result can be very pleasant and, given its extreme versatility and resistance, it is particularly suitable for the construction of squares, avenues, sidewalks. This type of flooring is also ideal for renovating existing flooring, as it requires a casting thickness of only 3 cm. The surface of this type of flooring can be treated with special protective resins that guarantee optimal performance over time.
